Terms of Business
Standard Terms of Business - The Compassionate Leadership Company Limited (Vendor)
1. Prices & Terms of Payment: All prices quoted will be in Pounds (£) Sterling excluding VAT unless otherwise stated and will be charged at the rate in force at the time that the service is provided. If a Purchase Order Number on invoices is required, this must be supplied to the Vendor in advance of delivery of products/services. The Vendor will invoice the Client on receipt of the signed Services Agreement (unless otherwise agreed and stated within the service agreement) which is required in advance of delivery of products/services. If the Client requires any additional products or services, the Vendor will provide costs for these in writing as and when requested. Payment terms are as stated on the invoice or strictly 14 days. In the event that invoices are not paid in accordance with these terms then we reserve the right to charge interest (5% above the current base rate) and compensation pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Clients with accounts in default agree to pay our reasonable expenses, including legal fees and costs for collection by third-party agencies, incurred when enforcing these Terms and Conditions.
2. Any initial fees quoted are valid for 21 days only. This includes our ‘early bird booking discount’. Fees will be increased by 15% (unless stated otherwise) for all bookings made outside of the 21 day ‘early bird discount’ period.
3. Costs & Expenses: The Vendor will charge for all reasonable expenses incurred (unless stated otherwise) in relation to the provision of products and services, including but not restricted to all travel (standard/economy fare), resources (e.g., stationery and materials), accommodation (maximum of 3* accommodation or equivalent) and subsistence (max of £45 per person, per day) for facilitator(s). Mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile.
4. Amending Participant Numbers: Any increase or reduction in numbers must be confirmed more than 14 days prior to delivery of the service/s. Any changes made less than 14 days prior to delivery may incur additional charges.
5. A booking cancelled by the client will be subject to the following charges:
➢ Cancellation 60-29 days from service commencement: 25% of fees and materials costs (including any expenses incurred)
➢ Cancellation 28-15 days from service commencement: 50% of fees and materials costs (including any expenses incurred).
➢ Cancellation 14-1 days from service commencement: 100% of fees and materials costs (including any expenses incurred).
6. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that our facilitator(s) have all necessary information prior to the delivery of goods or services. Failure to supply this information may affect our ability to supply its goods and services.
The Vendor reserves the right to substitute the agreed facilitator if circumstances should deem necessary.
7. Personal liability: Persons attending an event do so at their own risk and on the strict understanding that the Vendor does not accept liability for personal injury or damage.
8. Data Protection & Privacy: The Vendor updates their data protection and privacy policies from time to time to adhere to current law. Current data protection and privacy policies can be requested at any time by emailing info@thecompassionateleadership.company
8. The Vendor may use the Client’s name and logo on its marketing website and in its marketing materials unless the Client requests the Vendor not to do so.
